My American dinosaur fantasy.  Do we go by car or bike?  And how much time do we need? Weeks, months, perhaps a lifetime?

When I look at those distances from Hell Creek and Como Bluff to the Peabody and AMNH I have to take my hat off to the likes of Marsh and Cope - and little wonder that Cope went broke digging up bones many miles from home and then having to haul them many hundreds of miles back east.  To bone collectors everywhere, a debt of gratitude.
