Digging up Dinosaur Bones at the Hilton Festival

DinoZone, Gerald Allan Davie, Digging up DinosaursI think that the Earth was hit by a huge meteorite on Friday, leading to furnace like high winds, dust in the air, storm clouds and darkness for the next two days.  Cold and gloom settled in as the sky was blocked out and extinction loomed on the dark horizon.  Or so it felt this last weekend at the Hilton Arts Festival as loyal follows traipsed around in the mud.  But it wasn’t the end of the world, for on Monday morning out popped the sun and all was bright again.  During those dark days we had all you wonderful kids and your fantastic parents coming to see us in the DinoZone tent to dig up our fossil dinosaur, watch the movie, hang out with Dinoman and generally have a laugh.  Well, I certainly had fun in spite of ongoing excavations in the dry Gobi desert.  Well, it felt a bit that way due to the distinct lack of tea that had to be endured most of the weekend.  For those who want to see pics go look here.
